If you’re “into” photography, then you know that you’re just one more piece of equipment away from making amazing photographs. </sarcasm>

I’m almost embarrassed by the number of lenses I’ve bought just in the past five years. But as the saying goes, “A camera didn’t make a great photograph anymore than a typewriter wrote a great novel.” I’m also reminded that it’s not the camera, but the person behind it.

Oh, and as for post-production? Ansel Adams said it best: “You don’t take a photograph, you make it.” He would spend days in the darkroom working on a single print, dodging and burning. Imagine what he could have done with Adobe’s Creative Suite…
